Four-year athletic career consisted of races from the 100-yard dash in track to the three-mile run in cross country...Competed in two (AIAW) national cross country meets and one (AIAW) track meet, a regional track meet (first one held for the Minnesota region) as well as several state championships in both track and cross country...Involved in student senate committees on men's and women's athletics...Gave considerable effort in raising the budget for women's athletics from $11,000 in 1972 to about $60,000 in 1976...Graduated from MSU with a B.S. in Physical Education, Cum Laude in 1976....Attended University of Montana School of Law and following graduation in 1988, served as attorney for Idaho Legal Aid Services.
