Five-time  letterwinner (three in cross country and two in track) was team captain on both North Central Conference championship cross country and track teams as a senior...Teams went undefeated...Cross country team finished second in the nation in 1968, 12th in 1969...Cross country team captured Northern Intercollegiate crown in 1968...All-American in track - finished third in steeplechase and established MSU record at NCAA outdoor meet in 1968...Served as assistant coach with track team in 1971-72.
