Four-year member of both MSU track and volleyball teams...Three-time track All-American...Finished fourth at 1988 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships in heptathlon with 5,003 points...Two-time indoor track All-American in 55m hurdles (sixth in 1987 and 1988)...1988 North Central Conference heptathlon champion...Also captured 1988 NCC 100m hurdles and 400m intermediate hurdles titles at outdoor meet and 55m hurdles title indoors...Holds school records for 55m hurdles (8.16 (1988), 100m hurdles (14.21, 1984) and outdoor high jump (5-8.5, 1988)...1988 NCC Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year...Team captain on both volleyball and track teams...Wabasso, Minn., native was a Maverick Achievement Award recipient and Academic All-NCC pick...Ranked tenth on MSU's Athletes of the Century list...Is an optometrist and lives in Savage, Minn.
