Four-time All-American in cross country and track...Placed second in 5000m in 1980, third in 5,000m (16:44.0), sixth in 10,000m (36.08.0) at 1981 AIAW Division II national meet...Third at cross country nationals in 1979...Won 5000m at Drake Relays and ran in 1980 Olympic Trials where she placed 6th in 5000m...Still owns school indoor marks in 3,000m (9:52.0) and 2-mile (10:20.4) and outdoor marks for 3,000m (9:31.8) and 5,000m (16:12.5)...Captured MAIAW titles in 3,000m and 5,000m as a junior, as senior...Ranked ninth on MSU's Female Athletes of the Century list.
