Dale Bahr (‘95, Track & Field/Cross Country)

Four-time All-American in track & field for MSU...Finished second in 800m at 1992 NCAA Division II outdoor track & field championships in the 800m (1:49.51)...Claimed NCAA Division II Indoor track & field championship in the 800m in 1992 when he finished first in the event with a time of 1:52.87...Ranked third in the 800m at the 1991 NCAA indoor meet with a time of 1:53.64....Finished 7th in 800m at the 1991 NCAA DII Outdoor TF Championships (1:51.85) ...1991 North Central Conference outdoor track & field champion in 800m....Captured NCC indoor TF titles in 800m in 1991 and 1992....Finished fourth in 800m at the NCC outdoor TF championships as a freshman in 1990 (1:53.02)...New Ulm, Minn., native currently serves as the head track and field coach at Gustavus where he has coached two NCAA Outdoor national champions in Max Hanson (2010, 800m) and Janey Helland (2011, Heptathlon), and seven individuals who have turned in 10 All-American performances in both indoor and outdoor track and field.
