At one point held every record from the mile on up at MSU (mile, two-mile, three-mile, six-mile outdoors and one-mile and three-mile indoors)...Two-time All-American finished third in three -mile event at NCAA meet in 1970, 11th place at national cross country meet in 1968 as MSU finished second in the final NCAA cross country standings...Four-year cross country letterwinner, three-year TF letterwinner...In Grandma's Hall of Fame and 1977 Drake Marathon champion.
