Minnesota State University - Mankato Athletics

A standout on the MSU golf squad from 1961-1964...Played on four Northern Intercollegiate Conference (NIC) championship teams...Won a share of the NIC individual title in 1961 before capturing the conference individual title outright in 1963.  Team captain and All-American placed fourth at the 1964 National Collegiate Athletic Association college division golf tournament.  A link from the NY Times with information on the national tournament from 1964 is available HERE.
