Served 13 seasons as MSU's baseball coach (1964-76)...Recorded a .663 winning percentage (250-127)...Teams earned six conference titles - Two Northern Intercollegiate (1968 & 1969) and four North Central (1970, 1971, 1974, and 1976)...Teams earned seven trips to NCAA Division II post-season play, captured one regional championship, and 1971 squad finished fourth at the national tournament...Four-time NCC Coach of the Year was named NCAA District V Coach of the year in 1971...Had five different teams ranked in the top 15 nationally...13 players signed professional contracts and one (Jerry Terrell) spent eight years in the majors...Had forty All-Conference players, 14 All-District players and one first team Academic All-American.
