Led the Mavericks to a 164-133 (.552) record and eight winning seasons during 11-year career...MSU captured a North Central Conference title in 1976 and participated in the NCAA regional tournament where they finished third (lost to UW-Green Bay in double overtime and defeated Nebraska-Omaha...Named District V College Division Coach of the Year in 1976...Named NIC Coach of the Year in 1978-79 after team claimed conference title and established school record for wins with 23-6 mark. Team finished second in NAIA regional play-offs after defeating St. Olaf and losing to St. John's.
