MANKATO, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women's swimming and diving team broke a pair of pool records Saturday afternoon as the Mavericks bested MSU Moorhead 189-103.
The Mavericks now own a 10-1 dual record on the season. The Dragons now own a 7-2 dual record.
"I thought our women looked sharp today," head coach
Nathan Owens said. "It was good to see them race hard and post some fast times at this point in the season. Our divers also looked good with one of their most consistent meets of the year in terms of hitting all six dives. Very happy with how we competed today! It was an awesome senior day for our senior class."
"We're still a few days away from resting and taping for the conference meet, so everyone has hit peak fatigue and soreness in training. This was great last chance for everyone to get dialed in for the conference meet in a few weeks. Next week will start to focus more on rest and recovery, so we get everyone set-up for a big finish."
