Biography
2024-25: Took fourth place in the 100 freestyle vs. South Dakota with a time of 2:13.78…Earned first place finishes in the 200 freestyle during two meets…Also won the 200 IM at the Rochester Invite…Garnered All-NSIC honors as a member of the 800 freestyle relay team that finished second at the NSIC Championships with a time of 7:38.27…Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.
2023-24: Earned All-NSIC honors in two events at the NSIC championships as she finished second in the 200 backstroke (2:03.33) and second in the 400 IM (4:33.12)…Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence and the CSC Academic All-District Team…Finished 10th in the both the 500 freestyle and 1,000 freestyle at the NSIC Championships with times of 5:09.01 and 10:48.09, respectively.
2022-23: Notched a pair of personal bests at the NSIC Championships as she finished 12th in the 1,000 freestyle (10:43.26) and ninth in the 400 IM (4:37.87)…Finished first on both the 100 (1:00.67) and 200 (2:09.47) backstroke events in MSU’s dual vs. MSU Moorhead.
High School: Earned all-conference honors all four years of high school...Swam on varsity all four years.
Personal: Alexandra is the daughter of Brabara and Jay Gorecki...Majoring in exercise science... Hobbies include hiking and baking.
