EVANSVILLE, Ind. --- Minnesota State sophomore
Savannah Acker earned an All-American Honorable Mention for her efforts in the 100 backstroke Friday.
In the prelims for the 100 backstroke event, Acker posted a time of 55.71 which ranked 15th. In the consolation round, Acker recorded a time of 55.24 to finish in 10th place in the event to claim an All-American Honorable Mention.
Sophomore
Averi Larsen competed in the prelims in the 100 breaststroke where she finished in 26th place with a time of 1:03.43.
Minnesota State wraps up the NCAA Championships on Saturday. Acker will compete in the 200 backstroke, while Larsen competes in the 100 freestyle. Junior
Natalie Freeman will also compete in the 1-meter diving event. The swim prelims are set for 10:00 a.m., with the diving prelims set to follow at 1:00 p.m. The finals will begin at 5:30 p.m.
