MANKATO, Minn. --- Four members of the Minnesota State women's swimming and diving team have been named to the CSC Academic All-District Team for their efforts in the pool and in the classroom.
To be eligible, a student-athlete mst have at least a 3.5 GPA and be at least a sophomore academically and athletically. They must also compete in 75% of the team's events during the season, finish in the top-eight at the conference meet or participate in the NCAA Championships.
A sophomore from Lodi, Wis.,
Savannah Acker earned All-NSIC honors in seven events at the NSIC Championships this past season, including first place finishes in the 200 IM, 400 IM, 100 backstroke and 200 backstroke. She went on the earn an All-American Honorable Mention in the 100 backstroke as she finished 15
th at the NCAA Championships. Acker is majoring in exercise science and owns a 3.94 GPA.

Natalie Freeman earned All-NSIC honors in the 1-meter diving event at the NSIC Championships as she finished second. Freeman later qualified for the diving events at the NCAA Championships where she earned an All-American Honorable Mention in the 1-meter diving event with a 10
th place finish. Freeman is majoring in alcohol and drug studies and owns a 3.91 GPA.
A junior from Chaska, Minn.,
Gretta Hansen earned four All-NSIC honors at the NSIC Championships. She finished second in both the 400 IM and 200 backstroke, while taking third place in the 200 IM and 200 butterfly events. Hansen is majoring in exercise science and owns a 3.96 GPA.
A sophomore from Waterford, Wis.,
Averi Larsen earned All-NSIC honors in seven events at the NSIC Championships, including first place finishes in multiple relay events including the 400 medley relay, 200 freestyle relay and 400 freestyle relay events. Larsen also competed in the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle and 100 breaststroke events at the NCAA Championships. Larsen is majoring in psychology and owns a 3.75 GPA.
