MANKATO, Minn.--- Due to the weather forecasted in Fayette, Iowa on Wednesday, April 20, the Mavericks' double header at Upper Iowa University has been moved back to Thursday, April 21 at 1:30 p.m.
Most recently, the Mavericks split with Augustana University last Wednesday in Mankato. Â Â MSU defeated the Vikings the first game by a score of 6-2 before taking a 10-4 loss in game two.
Minnesota State's (18-11, 9-6 NSIC) double header at Upper Iowa University marks the first of six-straight double headers on the road.  The Mavericks will travel to St. Paul, Minn., this weekend for four games, to Aberdeen, S.D., for two on April 27, and then to Winona, Minn., to wrap the road trip up with four games against Winona State University  April 30- May 1.
First pitch for Thursday's games against UIU is slated for a 1:30 p.m. start with game two to follow at Roberston Woods Field in Fayette, Iowa.
