MANKATO, Minn. --- The Minnesota State baseball team has earned the ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award for its efforts in the classroom this past season.

To qualify for the award a team must post a minimum team GPA of 3.0 or higher. Nearly 500 college programs received the honor for their efforts during the 2025-26 academic season.

As a team, MSU boasted a team GPA of 3.28 for the 2025-26 academic season. MSU is one of seven NSIC teams to receive the honor, including Augustana, Concordia-St. Paul, Jamestown, Northern State, St. Cloud State and Southwest Minnesota State.

Minnesota State finished its season with a 40-16 record as it advanced to the NCAA Tournament.
