Looking Back at Last Weekend: The Mavericks (5-13-2, 3-12-1-0 WCHA) split a two-game home WCHA series with former-No. 3 ranked Minnesota Duluth over the weekend. The Mavericks lost to the Bulldogs 3-0 on Friday before bouncing back for a 2-1 come-from-behind win on Saturday at Verizon Wireless Center.

Power Play Sharpshooter: It took sophomore defenseman Megan Hinze (4-0--4) two shots to score the game-tying and game-winning goals -- both on the power play -- against former-No. 3 ranked Minnesota Duluth on Saturday at Verizon Wireless Center. Her two goals tied a career high -- set at No. 10 North Dakota on Oct. 15. Hinze leads the Mavericks and is tied for fourth in the WCHA with three power play goals in 2016-17. Her .190 goals per shot on goal percentage is the fifth highest in the WCHA. Hinze is tied with sophomore forward Emily Antony (4-6--10) for the team lead in goals. Assist Experts: Sophomore forwards Emily Antony (4-6--10) and Corbin Boyd (0-6--6) are tied for the team lead in assists. Antony, who also leads the Mavericks in points and is tied with sophomore defenseman Megan Hinze (0-4--4) for the most goals amongst Mavericks, dished out two assists in Minnesota State's 2-1 come-from-behind win over former-No. 3 ranked Minnesota Duluth on Saturday. Antony earned a WCHA Offensive Player of the Week Honorable Mention.

Keeping Up With Quade: Senior netminder Brianna Quade (3-8-2) tied her career high in wins in a season with Minnesota State's 2-1 come-from-behind victory over former-No. 3 ranked Minnesota Duluth on Saturday. In the win, she tallied two season bests: saves (39) and save percentage (.975). Quade, who lowered her 2016-17 goals against average to 2.68 and raised her save percentage to .912 over the weekend, has played in 62 career games and recorded 1,809 saves -- the fifth-highest save total in Minnesota State history.

Watching AMC: The forward line of sophomores Emily Antony (4-6--10) and Jordan McLaughlin (2-3--5), and junior Lindsey Coleman (3-4--7) has shown its offensive chemistry this season. Junior defenseman Anna Keyswho leads the Mavericks with 39 blocked shots in 2016-17, garnered a season-high seven blocked shots against the Bulldogs on Friday.
