MANAKTO, Minn. --- Minnesota State seniors Hailey Hansen and Lauren Zawoyski have been named to the 25-person US College Selects Team that will compete in Richmond, B.C. from August 12-15.

"We couldn't be happier or more proud of Lauren and Hailey for earning an opportunity to play for the United States Collegiate Select Team this week in Vancouver," head coach Shari Dickerman said. "We are excited for them to represent Minnesota State and continue to showcase themselves and our program. We know this is just the beginning of what is going to be an incredible senior season for both of them."

A senior goaltender from Blaine, Minn., Hailey Hansen won 14 games last season and made 1,033 saves, both of which were the third-most in a season in team history. Hansen also tied the school record in shutouts last season with five and her .915 save percentage was the ninth best in a season at MSU. In three seasons with the Mavericks, Hansen has won 28 games and her nine career shutouts are the second most in Maverick history.

A senior defender from Edina, Minn., Lauren Zawoyski played in all 38 games for the Mavericks last season. Zawoyski notched three goals and led the team in assists last season with 18 for a total of 21 points which ranked third on the team. Her 28 career points are the tenth most by a defender in team history and her 21 points during the 2025-26 season were the third most in a season at Minnesota State by a defender.

Minnesota State associate head coach Jeff Giesen will serve as a scout and evaluator for the Select Team as well.
