MANKATO, Minn. --- Former Minnesota State Maverick,
Taylor Otremba, was selected in the sixth round as the 71
st overall tonight in the PWHL Draft by the Ottawa Charge.
She is the second former Maverick to be selected this evening, joining former teammate
Jamie Nelson.
Otremba, who served as the team's captain last season, appeared in 149 games as a Maverick, scoring 35 career goals and recording 56 assists for 91 points. In each of her four seasons at Minnesota State she scored over 20 points, including a career-high 26 points in 2023-24 on 12 points and 14 assists.

Shari Dickerman. "Taylor is an incredible leader and hockey player who can play with grit and finesse. Her 200-foot game will translate well in pro hockey."
She sits third on Minnesota State's career charts for assists (56), sixth in points (91) and tied for eighth in goals. Her 149 games is the sixth most in program history as well.
