Scouting St. Cloud State: The Huskies (2-4-0, 1-3-0-0 WCHA) come to Verizon Wireless Center having last split a two-game series at home against North Dakota on Oct. 7 and Oct. 8. The Huskies lost 1-0 on Oct. 7 before rebounding for a 3-2 win on Oct. 8.
St. Cloud State, which ranks seventh in the WCHA with 1.67 goals scored per game, is led on offense by sophomore forward Julia Tylke, who paces the team in both goals (5) and points (6). Tylke has scored in 4-of-6 games this season, including a season-high two goals against Merrimack on Sept. 30.
In net, freshman Janine Alder (2-1-0) and sophomore Taylor Crosby (0-2-0) have each seen minutes in three games in 2016-17. Alder leads St. Cloud State in goals against average (1.15) and save percentage (.962).Â
