Louis Magers has been named to the NCBWA All-American Third Team for his efforts this past season.

Louis Magers played and started in all 56 games for the Mavericks, splitting time as a first baseman, designated hitter and pitcher. Mager batted .286 and was tied for the team lead in home runs with 16 and in runs batted in with 65. He also coaxed 34 walks and scored 49 runs. Earlier this season, Magers was named to the All-NSIC First Team, to go with All-Central Region First Team honors with D2CCA and NWBCA.
This is the second time in his career that Magers has been named to the NCBWA All-American Third Team. He previously received the honor back in 2025. Magers was also named to the D2CCA All-American First Team in 2025.
Minnesota State finished its 2026 season with a 40-16 record as it advanced to the NCAA Tournament.
