MANKATO, Minn. — The Minnesota State baseball team (35-10, 27-5 NSIC) earned a No. 16 ranking in this week's National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) NCAA Division II Top 25 Poll.

The Mavericks are riding strong momentum after sweeping Northern State in dominant fashion, posting final scores of 25-0, 13-0 and 13-2. Minnesota State continued its winning streak with a midweek sweep of St. Cloud State, securing victories of 12-1 and 8-2.

Minnesota State closes out the regular season this weekend as it hosts Minnesota Duluth. The series begins Friday with a doubleheader scheduled for 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., followed by a single game on Saturday at noon.
