Mankato, Minn.--- Minnesota State went 0-1-1 against Minnesota Duluth this weekend dropping to 13-16-1 on the season.
Alexa Berg earned her third shutout on the year helping the Mavericks skate to a 0-0 tie on Saturday.

Minnesota State hosts Bemidji State this weekend. The two-game set marks the 100th and 101st time the two teams have met in program history. Bemidji State (5-24-1, 2-22-0 WCHA) sits last in the WCHA standings tailing St. Thomas by five points.

Charlotte Akervik added another in the second period before Minnesota Duluth scored two unanswered goals in the third before netting the eventual game-winner in overtime.

Earlier this season, the two teams split the series in Bemidji as the Beavers won the opener 2-1 before the Mavericks won the finale, 3-0.
