Mankato, Minn. — Ten members of the 2017-18 Minnesota State women's hockey team have been named as Krampade All-American Scholars, the American Hockey Coaches Association announced last Friday.
To qualify as a Krampade All-American Scholar a student-athlete must have attained a grade-point-average of 3.6 in both semesters of the 2017-18 season while participating in at least 40 percent of the games played by the team during the season.
Mavericks recognized included Emily Antony (Jr., F, Plymouth, Minn.); Corbin Boyd (Jr., F, Minnetonka, Minn.); Lindsey Coleman (Sr., F, Burnsville, Minn.); Amanda Conway (Sr., F, Naperville, Ill.); Chloe Crosby (So., G, Lakeville, Minn.); Brittyn Fleming (Fr., F, Oregon, Wis.); Amanda Martin (Sr., F, Peoria, Ariz.); Sofia Poinar (So., F, Chanhassen, Minn.); McKenzie Sederberg (So., D, Andover, Minn.) and Emma Wittchow (Sr., D, Burnsville, Minn.).
Minnesota State is scheduled to open the 2018-19 season Sept. 22 with an exhibition home game vs. the University of British Columbia.
