Looking Back at Last Weekend: The Mavericks (3-11-2, 1-10-1-0 WCHA) played a two-game home nonconference series with Lindenwood. The Mavericks lost to the Lady Lions 5-1 on Friday and the two teams tied 1-1 on Saturday. The Mavericks lost the shootout 2-1 in five rounds.
Coleman's Hot Streak: Junior forward
Lindsey Coleman (3-3--6), who is tied for the fifth-most points in the WCHA since Nov. 18, extended her team-leading point streak to four games with two points in the series with Lindenwood. Coleman assisted on the Mavericks' lone goal on Friday -- scored by junior defenseman
Anna Keys (1-3--4) -- and she scored the game-tying goal on Saturday. Coleman, whose performance earned her a second-straight WCHA Offensive Player of the Week Honorable Mention, leads Minnesota State and ranks 12th in the WCHA in shot percentage.

Watching AMC: The forward line of sophomores
Emily Antony (3-4--7) and
Jordan McLaughlin (2-2--4), and junior
Lindsey Coleman (3-3--6) is becoming a potent offensive combination. Over their last five games, Antony, Mclaughlin, and Coleman have combined for four goals and six assists for 10 points. Against Lindenwood last weekend, the trio contributed one goal and two assists -- having a hand in each Maverick goal.
On Key From the Point: Junior defenseman
Anna Keys (1-3--4) leads all Maverick defenseman in assists and points in 2016-17. She enters the weekend tied for 19th in the WCHA amongst defenseman in both assists and points. Keys' 23 career points are the sixth most by a defenseman in program history.
Keeping Up With Quade: Senior netminder
Brianna Quade earned a WCHA Player of the Week Honorable Mention after garnering 33 saves, a 1.80 goals against average and a .917 save percentage last weekend against Lindenwood. In her Maverick career, Quade has played in 58 games and recorded 1,632 saves -- the fifth-highest save total in Minnesota State history.

Winning in the WCHA: Minnesota State picked up its first WCHA win of the season with a 2-1 victory over Ohio State on Nov. 19 at Verizon Wireless Center. The win, which was the first WCHA victory for the Mavericks since a 5-1 win over St. Cloud State on Feb. 2, 2015 in Mankato, Minn., was head coach
John Harrington's first career WCHA coaching win.
Scouting Bemidji State: The Beavers (5-10-1, 3-10-1-0 WCHA) come to Verizon Wireless Center on a three-game losing streak, including 4-0 and 4-1 losses to No. 2 Minnesota last Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
The Beaver attack is led by sophomore forward Emily Bergland (5-5--10), senior defenseman Madison Hutchinson (4-5--9) and junior forward/defenseman Emma Terres (3-4--7).
In goal, senior Brittni Mowat (4-9-1) has garnered a .916 save percentage and a 2.58 goals against average over 16 games, including 14 starts.
Last Time Around: Last season, the Mavericks lost all four meetings with the Beavers: 3-1, 3-1, 3-1 and 2-1. The Mavericks last defeated the Beavers 2-1 on Jan. 4, 2014.
