Nolan Johnson doubled in sophomore third baseman
Connor McCallum - who extended his hitting streak to ten games - and junior first baseman
Stetson Olson launched his fifth homerun of the year well over the right field fence.
MSU senior righthander
Nick Sutherland breezed through the first four innings until Augustana rallied in the top of the fifth for two runs off back-to-back RBI singles from freshman
Zach Dibble and junior

Augie tied the game at 5-5 in the top of the seventh with three runs - all with two outs - after sophomore
Jack Goihl was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded and junior
Tony Viger ripped a two-run single into center field, but once again Minnesota State provided an answer in its half of the inning. MSU claimed a 9-5 lead with four runs in the frame, keyed by a two-run double from junior catcher
Mike Andries.
Andries struck again for the Mavericks in the eighth when he ripped a two-run single down the right field line before Standish produced an additional run with a bases-loaded walk. After junior outfielder
Parker Sullivan plated two more with an RBI single through the right side, pinch-hitter senior
Jon Flattery drove in Standish with a groundout to first to complete the 15-5 final via the 10-run rule.
Junior righthander
Tyler Sparger (1-0) earned his first win as a Maverick with one and two-thirds innings scoreless relief, while freshman
