Krichiver finished with a career-high 39 saves for MSU who converted one-of-three power-play opportunities. Black stopped 23 shots in a losing effort as Minnesota Duluth was held scoreless on four power-play chances. The Bulldogs outshot the Mavericks 40-25 on the day.
Minnesota State improves to 10-16-3 overall and 6-14-1 in WCHA play and will go for the series sweep tomorrow afternoon at 1:07p.m. inside AMSOIL Arena.
