Danielle Butters (London, Ont.). Then, a pair of Husky juniors each notched their first goal of the season as
Kalli Funk scored on a wrist shot from the slot at 14:52 and
Amanda Arbogast handcuffed Butters with a chance above the left shoulder at 17:47.

Minnesota State trimmed the deficit to one early in the second period on senior

St. Cloud State fired back early in the third period netting a trio of goals in the frame's first eight minutes. With a Maverick penalty about to expire, senior
Michelle Burke fired a shot from the point that Mott redirected by Butters on the blocker side at 4:06. Junior
Amy Olson joined the act at 5:41 by redirecting freshman
Kelsey Saelens' chance just beneath the crossbar, before junior
