Danielle Butters made 20 saves to earn her first career shutout to lift Minnesota State to a 3-0 victory over Lindenwood Friday evening at All Seasons Arena.
The Maverick penalty kill led the charge for MSU as Lindenwood only fired six shots and failed to score on eight power-play opportunities

In a scoreless 2nd period, Lindenwood had five power-play chances, but
Butters carried the stingy MSU defense who would not allow a goal.
Hensley collected 14 saves in the frame, and
Butters blocked all four Lions’ shots.
