Minnesota State Volleyball Squad Jumps to #5 in Central Region

Indianapolis, Ind. — The Minnesota State volleyball jumped to #5 in this weeks edition of the NCAA Division II Women's Volleyball Committee's regional rankings which were released today.

The Mavericks are one of five Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference schools ranked in the top ten including #1 Concordia-St. Paul, #3 Southwest Minnesota State, #4 Wayne State and #6 Minnesota Duluth .

The Mavericks conclude their 2009 regular season on the road against Northern State, Friday at 7:00 p.m. and at Mary, Saturday at 4:00 p.m.
