Four Mavericks Earn CSC Academic All District Honors

Greenwood, Ind. Minnesota State volleyball had four student-athletes selected to the 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. Honorees include senior Ellie Kline, redshirt junior Mary Satori, junior Avery Rosenberg, and sophomore Avery Klein.

The 2025 Academic All-District® Volleyball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes volleyball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
 
Academic All-District honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced Jan. 13, 2026.

A three time recipient of the CSC Academic All District honor, Kline continued to excel both academically and on the court in her senior season. The Holmen, Wis. native appeared in all 97 sets as the Mavericks libero and recorded 508 digs, bringing her career total to 1,524 which ranks fourth on the program's all time list. She averaged 5.24 digs per set and added 38 assists and 32 service aces. Kline also earned NSIC Libero of the Year, All NSIC First Team honors and a selection to the D2CCA All Central Region Second Team. As a management major, she carries a 3.86 GPA.

Satori, who holds a 3.91 GPA in Special Education: Academic and Behavior Strategies, concluded her collegiate career earning her first CSC Academic All District selection. The Manitowoc, Wis. native and Mavericks outside hitter transferred from Minnesota Duluth and made an immediate impact in her first season with Minnesota State. She recorded 265 kills, tied for both the team and NSIC lead with 60 service aces, and surpassed 100 career aces while averaging 0.63 per set. Satori averaged 3.57 points and 2.85 digs per set and finished the season tied for ninth nationally in service aces. She was the second leading attacker for the Mavericks this season.

Rosenberg delivered a powerful junior season that earned her first CSC Academic All District honor. The Chaska, Minn. native, who holds a 3.87 GPA as a marketing major, was a key presence in the middle for the Mavericks, totaling 259 kills while hitting .323. She added 64 total blocks, including 15 solo and 49 assisted, and averaged 0.73 blocks per set. Rosenberg finished the year with 300.5 points and averaged 3.41 points per set. Her performance also earned her All NSIC Second Team recognition as she continued to establish herself as one of Minnesota State's most reliable performers.

Leading the Mavericks in kills this season, Klein delivered a standout sophomore campaign that earned her All NSIC Second Team honors. The New Prague, Minn. native totaled 292 kills and averaged 3.04 per set while also contributing 215 digs and 34 service aces in a six rotation role. She produced 356 total points and averaged 3.71 points per set, along with seven solo blocks and 46 block assists on the defensive side. Klein is a management major with a 3.88 GPA.
