BURNSVILLE, Minn. --- Minnesota State's
Kenjuan Hampton and
Hayden Bills have earned NSIC weekly honors for their efforts last weekend.
Hampton was named the NSIC Track Athlete of the Week, while Bills was named the NSIC Field Athlete of the Week.
A native of Katy, Texas,
Kenjuan Hampton finished third in the 110m hurdles at the PSU Tune Up with a time of 13.83. his time of 13.66 in the prelims was the third fastest in DII. He was also a member of the 4x100 relay (40.28) and 4x400 relay (3:08.85) teams that finished first and second, respectively. Both relay times rank in the top-15 in DII.

Hayden Bills took second place in the shot put (18.84m, 61-5.75) event at the PSU Tune Up. His throw is the third best in Division II this season. HE also took third in the discus with a throw of 55.52m. This is the second straight week he has been named the NSIC Field Athlete of the Week.
Minnesota State returns to action this Wednesday as it competes at the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa and the Gary Wilson Invitational in Minneapolis, Minn.
