BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. --- The Minnesota State women's golf team finished the NSIC Conference Preview in a tie for fourth place with Concordia-St. Paul Tuesday afternoon.
The two-round NSIC Conference Preview was held at the par-72 Adams Point Golf Club in Blue Springs, Mo. As a team, MSU finished fourth in the team standings with scores of 312-314—626 (+50). Missouri Western finished first in the team standings with a score of 301-301—602 (+26). Augustana's Lanie Veenendall finished first in the individual standings with a 72-72—144 (E).
"Unfortunately we didn't quite have the horses this week, head coach
Alex Schmitz said. "Counting two scores of 80 makes winning hard. But not being able to work on stuff outside is tough. Hopefully we can get outside before our next event."

Victoria Woytassek and sophomore
Emerson Garlie finished in a tie for 21st place at +13. Youngquist recorded a 77 during the second round, while Woytassek and Garlie both shot an 80 in the second round.

Ava Olson finished in 27th place as she shot a 77 during the final round, which included one birdie. Junior
Lauryn Keller posted an 84 in the second round as well to finish in 36th place at +18.
Competing independently, junior
Lauren Brown finished in 13th place at +10 as she recorded an 80 in the final round that included two birdies. Junior
Emma Berge shot a 78 in round two to finish in 35th place at +17, while freshman
Karalyn Skinner posted a 79 to finish +23 for the event.
Minnesota State returns to action on April 13-14 as it competes in the Wildcat Classic at the Wayne Country Club in Wayne, Neb.
