BURNSVILLE, Minn. --- A trio of Mavericks including
Emerson Garlie,
Victoria Woytassek and
Samantha Youngquist have earned All-NSIC honors for their efforts on the golf course this past season.
A sophomore from Northfield, Minn.,
Emerson Garlie is one of three Mavericks to play in all 24 rounds for the Mavericks this season, averaging 77.0 strokes per round. She has finished in the top-20 in six events this season, including five in the top-five. Garlie won both the Jewell Invite and the SMSU Fall Invite and was named the NSIC Golfer of the Week twice. This spring she also posted fifth place finishes in both the Wildcat Classic (+7) and the NSIC Championships (+16), earning NSIC All-Tournament Team honors in the process. At the NCAA Central Region Championships, Garlie finished in 20th place (+19). Last season, Garlie was named to the All-NSIC Second Team.
A junior from Jordan, Minn.,
Victoria Woytassek is one of three Mavericks to play in all 24 rounds during the 2025-26 season and is averaging 76.6 stroke per round. She has finished in the top-20 in nine of MSU's 11 events this season, including five in the top-five. Woytassek finished first at the MSU/CSP Fall Brawl and took second place at both the SMSU Fall Invite and the SMSU Classic. At the NSIC Championships, she finished in 12th place (20), before leading the way for the Mavericks at the NCAA Central Region Championships on 11th place at +15. Woytassek was named the NSIC Golfer of the Week one time as well.

Samantha Youngquist is one of three Mavericks to compete in all 24 rounds for the Mavericks this season, averaging 77.9 strokes per round. She has finished in the top-20 in seven of the Mavericks 11 events, including a fourth place finish at the SMSU Fall Invite (+8). At the NSIC Championships finished in 10th place at +18. Youngquist followed up the NSIC Championships with a 23rd place finish at the NCAA Central Region Championships as she finished at +20.
