MANKATO, Minn. — Minnesota State climbed to No. 14 in this week's USA Hockey Poll following a weekend sweep of the St. Thomas Tommies to close out the regular season.

The Mavericks traveled to St. Paul and secured two key victories, earning a 5-2 win on Friday before battling to a 4-3 overtime victory on Saturday night to complete the sweep.

With the regular season now complete, Minnesota State shifts its focus to postseason play in the WCHA. The Mavericks will travel to AMSOIL Arena this weekend for a playoff matchup against the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs.
