MANKATO, Minn. – The Minnesota State Mavericks moved into the No. 15 spot in this week's USA Hockey rankings following a home series against the top-ranked Wisconsin Badgers.

The Mavericks hosted Wisconsin for their final home series of the regular season at the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center. Minnesota State fell 4-1 on Friday before dropping a 5-1 decision on Saturday.

Lauren Zawoyski and Ava Guillemette each scored for the Mavericks during the weekend series.

Minnesota State will close out the regular season on the road against the St. Thomas Tommies. Both games are scheduled for 2 p.m. at Lee & Penny Anderson Arena.
