MANKATO, Minn. – 14 student-athletes from Minnesota State were named to the 2025-26 Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) All-Academic Team, presented by Sterling Trophy.
The WCHA recognized 118 student-athletes across its eight member institutions. To qualify, student-athletes must have achieved at least sophomore academic standing and maintained a 3.0 GPA or higher (on a 4.0 scale) over the previous two semesters or three quarters.
Each of the eight league teams had 12 or more student-athletes earn the academic honor. Bemidji State led all teams with 18 student-athletes on the list, followed by St. Cloud State, which had 17 individuals recognized, while Minnesota Duluth was third with 15 Bulldogs earning the honor. Minnesota, Minnesota State, St. Thomas, and Wisconsin each had 14, while Ohio State rounded out the group with 12 Buckeyes being recognized.
The WCHA All-Academic Team is selected with the assistance of Faculty Athletic Representatives from each member institution.
