MANKATO, Minn. – The Minnesota State Mavericks hold steady at No. 3 in the latest USC Division II National Women's Soccer Poll following a strong weekend at The Pitch.

The Mavericks opened the weekend with a 0-0 draw against Central Oklahoma on Friday. MSU then closed out the weekend with a statement win, edging No. 17 Central Missouri 1-0 on Sunday. Senior midfielder Anna Van Wyngarden delivered the decisive goal in the 76th minute, converting from the penalty spot to secure the victory.

This weekend Minnesota State will travle to Allendale, Mich., to face Grand Valley State on Friday night at 6 p.m.
