INDIANAPOLIS --- The Minnesota State baseball team has been ranked third in the most recent edition of the NCAA Central Region Rankings.
The NCAA is made up of teams from the NSIC, Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) and the Great American Conference (GAC). Automatic bids are awarded to the conference tournament champions, with the final five spots being awarded on an at-large basis.
Minnesota State is one of two NSIC teams ranked in the top-10. Augustana has been ranked eighth.
The NCAA Selection Show is scheduled to stream on NCAA.com on Sunday, May 11, at 9:00 p.m. (CST).
Minnesota State continues its season on Friday as it hosts Southwest Minnesota State in a doubleheader on Friday at Bowyer Field. First pitch for game one is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
