BURNSVILLE, Minn. --- Minnesota State's
Savannah Acker has been named the NSIC Swimmer of the Week for the second time this season.
A sophomore from Lodi, Wis., Acker swam three NCAA B cut times in the 200 IM (2:03.50), the 100 backstroke (55.14) and the 200 backstroke (2:01.42) at the Augustana Invite. She was also a member of four relay teams, including the 200 freestyle (1:33.64), the 400 freestyle (3:25.56), the 200 medley (1:42.85) and the 400 medley (3:49.33) that finished first.
This is the second time this season that Acker has been named the NSIC Swimmer of the Week. She previously received the honor back on Oct. 21.
Minnesota State returns to action on Jan. 16 as it takes on Sioux Falls and Southwest Minnesota State in a double dual in Sioux Falls, S.D. at 5:00 p.m.
