LILBURN, Ga. – Minnesota State guard Natalie Bremer has been named the WBCA/D2CIDA Women's Basketball Player of the Week, the first national weekly honor of her career, after delivering a dominant two game stretch that helped the Mavericks improve to 7-0.

Bremer averaged 30 points, five rebounds and four steals across the week, highlighted by a career high 35 point outing in MSU's 85-73 win over UW-Parkside. She shot 13-of-22 from the field with four three pointers, while adding four rebounds, four steals and two assists.

Earlier in the week, Bremer tallied 25 points on 12-of-23 shooting with six rebounds and four steals in Minnesota State's 110-81 victory over St. Cloud State to open NSIC play.

For the week, she shot 55.6 percent from the field, went five-of-nine from beyond the arc, finished a perfect five-for-five at the line, and totaled eight steals, securing a national honor that reflects her all around impact on the Mavericks' undefeated start.

MSU returns to the court on Thursday, Dec. 4, traveling to Winona, Minn., for a 7:30 p.m. matchup against the Warriors inside McCown Gymnasium. The game will stream live on the NSIC Network.
