LILBURN, Ga. — Minnesota State wrapped up the season ranked No. 11 in the final WBCA Coaches Poll after putting together an outstanding 29-3 overall record and a 21-1 mark in NSIC play.
The Mavericks captured the NSIC Regular Season Championship behind a dominant performance in conference action. MSU remained ranked nationally throughout the entire season and climbed to the No. 1 spot for two consecutive weeks. The Mavericks also set a program record with a 27-game winning streak.
Minnesota State is joined in the final poll by fellow NSIC programs Minnesota Duluth at No. 12 and Concordia-St. Paul at No. 22.
