Greenwood, Ind. – Minnesota State senior Natalie Bremer was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-America First Team, recognizing her outstanding achievements both athletically and academically during the 2025-26 season.

Bremer, an exercise science major with a 3.64 GPA, put together a remarkable senior season for the Mavericks. The Lake City, Minn., native started all 32 games and averaged 21.8 points and 4.7 rebounds per contest. She also etched her name into the program record book, becoming Minnesota State's all-time leading scorer across both the men's and women's basketball programs with 2,371 career points.

In addition to her academic success, Bremer earned NSIC South Division Player of the Year, WBCA Player of the Year, and NSIC Outstanding Senior of the Year honors, while also being named a finalist for the DII Honda Athlete of the Year Award. She was further recognized with selections to the D2CCA All-American First Team, D2CCA All-Central Region First Team, and All-NSIC First Team.

Bremer becomes the sixth student-athlete in Minnesota State women's basketball history to earn College Sports Communicators Academic All-America honors and joins former teammate Joey Batt, who received First Team recognition in 2024.

MSU concluded the 2025-26 season with a 29-3 overall record while capturing both the NSIC South Division and NSIC Regular Season Championships. The Mavericks also advanced to their fifth consecutive NCAA Tournament, hosting postseason action inside the Taylor Center.
