Eleven Home Games Highlight 2026-27 Maverick Women’s Basketball Schedule

MANKATO, Minn. --- The Minnesota State women's basketball team will compete in 28 games during the upcoming 2026-27 season, including 11 within the confines of Taylor Center.

The Mavericks open the 2026-27 campaign on Halloween weekend as they travel to Dells, Wis., to take part in the Wisconsin Dells Tourney. MSU opens the weekend on Oct. 30 with a 9:00 a.m. tip-off against Grand Valley State, before facing Lake Superior State on Oct. 31 at 11:15 a.m. Minnesota State finishes the weekend on Nov. 1 as it takes on Northern Michigan at 1:30 p.m.

MSU when travel to Kenosha, Wis., to face UW-Parkside at 11:30 a.m., before traveling to Quincy, Ill., for the Quincy Tournament. MSU will take on host Quincy on Nov. 20 at 7:00 p.m., before finishing the trip with a 1:00 p.m., tip-off against McKendree on Nov. 21.

The Mavericks wrap up the month of November as they travel to St. Cloud State on Nov. 24 to open their NSIC schedule with a 7:30 p.m. tip-off.

December will see Minnesota State compete in six games before heading into winter break. Three games will be held at Taylor Center, including a pair of 7:30 p.m. games against Concordia-St. Paul on Dec. 3 and Southwest Minnesota State on Dec. 17. MSU will also host Sioux Falls on Dec. 19 at 3:00 p.m. MSU's three road games in the month will be against Winona State on Dec. 5, Wayne State on Dec. 10 (7:30 p.m.) and Augustana on Dec. 12.

The month of January will see Minnesota State return from winter break to compete in nine games, including five in Taylor Center. MSU opens the month with three straight home games against St. Cloud State on Jan. 2 (3:00 p.m.), Minot State on Jan. 8 (3:00 p.m.) and UMary on Jan. 9 (5:30 p.m.). The Mavericks will then head north to take on Bemidji State on Jan. 15 and Minnesota Duluth on Jan. 16.

The weekend of Jan. 22-23 will see the Mavericks return home to face MSU Moorhead at 7:30 p.m., before they conclude the weekend against Minnesota Crookston at 5:30 p.m. Minnesota State then wraps up the month of January with a pair of road games at Jamestown on Jan. 29 and Northern State on Jan. 30.

The Mavericks conclude their regular season schedule in the month of February with six games, including three in Taylor Center. MSU begins the month on the road as they take on Sioux Falls on Feb. 4 at 7:30 p.m., before traveling to Southwest Minnesota State on Feb. 6 for a 4:00 p.m. contest. MSU's final road game of the regular season will take place at Concordia-St. Paul on Feb. 18 at 7:30 p.m.

Minnesota State's home schedule in February begins on Feb. 11 as the Mavericks host Augustana at 7:30 p.m., before taking on Wayne State on Feb. 13 at 3:00 p.m. MSU concludes its regular season schedule on Feb. 20 as it hosts Winona State in a 3:00 p.m., tip-off in Taylor Center.

The first round of the NSIC Tournament will be held at campus sites on Feb. 24, with the final three rounds taking place at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D. from Feb. 27 – March 2.

The NCAA Central Region Tournament will be held from March 12-15, with the host site to be determined. The NCAA Elite Eight will be held from March 22-26 at the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse in Pittsburg, Pa.
