EDMOND, Okla. --- The Minnesota State women's golf team wrapped up day one of the Grace Shin Invite tied for 12th.
As a team, MSU shot a 315 (+31) in round one of the 19-team invite at the par-71 Golf Club of Edmond. Central Missouri leads the overall team standings with a 284 (E), with Central Oklahoma following in second with a 288 (+4). Central Missouri's Mia Rallo leads the individual field after round one as she shot a 66 (-5).
Sophomore
Emerson Garlie led the way for the Mavericks in round one as she shot a 75 (+4), which included one birdie and 13 pars, to finish the day in 27th. Senior
Samantha Youngquist finished the day in 48th as she shot a 78 (+7). Youngquist recorded one birdie and one of the day's three eagles.
Juniors
Lauryn Keller and
Victoria Woytassek each shot 81 (+10) in round one, with each of them recording one birdie. Sophomore
Aly Blomberg finished the day one stroke behind Keller and Woytassek with and 82 (+11).
