EDMOND, Okla. --- The Minnesota State women's golf team finished in ninth place at the Grace Shin Invite Tuesday.
As a team, MSU shot 315-300—615 (+47)- at the par-71 Golf Club of Edmond. Central Missouri finished first in the team standings with a score of 284-296—580 (+12). Central Missouri's Mia Rallo finished first in the individual standings with a score of 66-70—136 (-6).
Sophomore
Emerson Garlie finished in 25th place at the invite as she notched scores of 75-75—150 (+8), while senior
Samantha Youngquist finished one shot back in 26th place with scores of 78-73—151 (+9). Youngquist recorded two birdies during round two, while Garlie notched one.
Junior
Victoria Woytassek finished in 56th place as she shot an 81-76—157 (+15), with sophomore
Aly Blomberg following one stroke behind at +16 (82-76—158). Junior
Lauren Keller recorded an 81-81—162 (+20) as well.
Minnesota State continues its fall schedule on Oct. 13-14 as it takes part in the USF Invitational at Grand Falls Golf Course in Larchwood, Iowa.
