Denisha Cartwright and
Shemar Miller competed in the final day of the Texas Relays today.
With a lightning-fast time of 12.81s (2.7s wind), Cartwright placed first in the women's 100m hurdles. This time places Cartwright first in the national poll by 1.9s, as well as beats her own personal best time and increases her top mark by .19 seconds for MSU's all-time top outdoor performances.
In the 100m dash, Cartwright placed fourth with a time of 11.28 seconds, which ranks her first nationally and breaks her own school record by two seconds. This time also ranks Cartwright 8
th in all-time NCAA D2 History.
Miller competed in the men's triple jump event, placing 7
th with his best jump of 15.65m (51' 04.25"). This places him second overall in the men's outdoor top performances and first in the national rankings.
