Mankato, Minn. --- Minnesota State defenseman Andy Carroll has signed with Abbotsford Canucks of the American Hockey League.
 

This past year, Carroll recorded five goals, 20 assists and 25 points, all of which were career-highs. A two-time CCHA Defenseman of the Week, Carroll, also blocked a career-high 33 shots this past season. 

As a Maverick, Carroll appeared in 169 games, the third most of any Maverick in school history.  He scored 14 goals and registered 50 assists for 64 career points while finishing +70 and blocking 112 shots.  During his time as a Maverick, Carroll appeared on teams that went a combined 116-29-4, played on five MacNaughton Cup championship teams, earned one Jeff Sauer WCHA Championship trophy, two Mason Cup championship teams, qualified for three NCAA Tournaments, two Frozen Fours and earned one trip to the national championship game.
