New Orleans, La. --- The initial edition of the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division II Men's Indoor Track & Field National Rankings features the Minnesota State squad checking in at #23. 
 
MSU is one of two NSIC programs in the national rankings, just behind MSU Moorhead (#22).  Of the 25 teams appearing in the national rankings, a whopping nine come from the Central Region, including #1 Pittsburg State
 
The Mavericks will return to the friendly confines of Myers Field House in their next action when they host the two-day Mark Schuck Open & Multi, presented by North Mankato Family Dentistry, on Friday and Saturday, January 27^th and 28^th on the campus of Minnesota State.
