BURNSVILLE, Minn. --- Minnesota State senior Emily Goodman has been named the NSIC Swimmer of the Week for her efforts this past weekend against MSU Moorhead.

A native of Bettendorf, Iowa, Goodman won two individual events in MSU's dual against the Dragons, including the 100 breaststroke (1:06.91) and the 200 IM (2:13.67). She was also a member of the 200 medley relay team that finished first with a time of 1:49.69.

Goodman is the second Maverick to claim NSIC Swimmer of the Week honors this season. Senior Anja Enervold received the honor back on Nov. 16.

Minnesota State continues its season on Wednesday, Feb. 9, as it takes part in the four-day NSIC Championships in Sioux Falls, S.D.
