MANKATO, Minn. --- The Minnesota State men's track and field team took first place in nine events Saturday afternoon at the Chuck Petersen Open.
As a unit, MSU finished first in the team standings with 231 points.
Sophomore
Daniel Attoh won the 60m dash with a time of 6.86, while junior
Abel Christiansen won the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.12.
Senior
Kenry Atubel set the pace in the 200m dash with a time of 22.06, sophomore
Junior Pontes Da Veiga won the 400m run with a time of 49.67.

Marvin Dure and Pontes Da Veiga won the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:24.86.
Sophomore
Aiden Buendorf won the high jump with a jump of 2.00m, while junior
James Gilbert led the way in the long jump with a mark of 7.61m. Junior
Carson Dittel won the pole vault with a vault of 5.06m, while sophomore
Onyi Ukaobasi won the triple jump with a jump of 15.07m.
Minnesota State continues its season on Friday, January 13 as it hosts the Bearson/Gathje Classic at Myers Field House.
